All payments on GadgetShack are processed securely via Airwallex, a regulated global payment service provider.

  • Payment details are encrypted and transmitted securely
  • We do not store or have access to your full card details
  • Payment authentication and fraud checks are handled by our payment provider

Your payment will be taken at the time you place your order.


Currency

All prices are displayed and charged in GBP (£) unless clearly stated otherwise.

VAT is included in the price where applicable, in line with UK regulations.


Payment Confirmation

Once payment is successfully completed:

  • You will receive an order confirmation email
  • Your order will enter processing for fulfilment

If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us before attempting to place a duplicate order.


Failed or Declined Payments

If a payment is declined or fails:

  • The order will not be processed
  • No funds will be captured by us
  • You may try again using a different payment method

We are not responsible for delays caused by declined payments or payment provider errors outside our control.


Refunds

Approved refunds are:

  • Issued to the original payment method used at checkout
  • Processed via Airwallex
  • Typically completed within 5 working days, though your bank or card issuer may take longer to reflect the funds

Fraud Prevention

To protect customers and prevent unauthorised transactions, we may:

  • Carry out additional verification checks
  • Delay or cancel orders flagged as high risk
  • Request further information before processing an order

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you believe a charge has been made in error, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Unnecessary chargebacks may delay resolution and can affect future transactions.

Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
